Over the course of her career, Canadian Benita has built a diversified skill set in acting, filmmaking and business marketing / management. A recent Masters graduate of the London Film School, she started her career as an international actress and model with agents such as John Casablancas Elite - Calgary, Elite Folio - Tokyo and Ricardo Guy - Milan, among others.
Currently featured as Irish mythological Queen Maeve on a lit Dublin, Ireland airport billboard for Skoda Cars, Benita also stars as the disillusioned businesswoman ‘Josephine’ in the multi award-winning film The Yesterday, now on the festival circuit. This film has already won 7 awards including, among others, a gold Remi directing award with the (Canadian Screen award qualifying) 55th Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, and Best Women Film with the Cannes World Film Festival France. The Yesterday is an ‘official selection’ at 4 festivals including the 25th ARPA International Film Festival USA, and will debut screen in November.
